The Accessible Acupuncture Initiative, Inc is a non-profit 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization incorporated in the state of Florida doing business as Accessible Acupuncture

Our Mission

Our Mission is to alleviate the physical, emotional, and mental suffering of our community through affordable and accessible, all-natural care. By means of our low-cost acupuncture clinic, we are dedicated to providing our community with transformative access to the potent, non-addictive, and side-effect-free benefits of acupuncture and herbal medicine.

All who support our Mission by coming to the clinic for care and telling others about the clinic are enabling us to continue this vital work and make a lasting impact on the well-being of our community.

To best learn more about why we do what we do, check out our insights into the Status Quo of the acupuncture profession and why it motivates us to make acupuncture & herbal medicine more affordable and accessible for our community.

Our Purpose

Our purpose is to improve the quality of life for the members of our community by providing support for their health including relief from pain, reduction in the frequency, duration and intensity of distressing symptoms and prevention of the onset of chronic and acute diseases.  We also strive to provide relief from the stress, isolation, and financial burdens often associated with healthcare.

We are a social business striving to lower, or remove, as many of the barriers to treatment that we possibly can, for as many people as we possibly can, while continuing to be financially self-sustaining so we can serve our community both now and in the future.

One of these barriers is the language we use.  Through community outreach and information provided on our website (have you seen our blog?), we also strive to increase awareness of the benefits of acupuncture and de-mystify Chinese Medicine by talking in terms of actual physiological functions, instead of mysterious things like 'Qi' and 'meridians' that tend to elicit visions of voodoo and quackery instead of the viable and effective form of medicine that it is.
